FOR ADULTS:

Meditation with Music

Journeys with Sound and Darius Kaufmann present Music of the Earth multi-cultural world music assemblies, performances and workshops in schools for children of all ages:  Preschool, Pre-K (PreK), Kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, junior high, and high school.  These school shows feature traditional instruments from around the world, including Australian didjeridoo; Native American music with drum, flutes and rattles; African drums; instruments from China, Tibet, Japan, India and Egypt; Irish music and Scottish bagpipes.  Curriculum tie-ins include music, art, Language & Literacy, History, Geography, Sciences (biology, physics, Earth sciences), Environmental Studies, Nature and our Planet Earth.  Guided meditation is incorporated, as well as aspects of confidence-building and group awareness of similarities, which relate to themes of anti-bullying and DIGNITY.
